Hillary’s Buck-Passing: It’s Her Own Fault She Lost
Hillary Clinton blames FBI Director James Comey instead of accepting responsibility for her defeat (“It’s Comey’s fault: Hill,” Nov. 13).
She never takes responsibility for her actions.
The real reason the Democrats lost was a combination of Hillary’s lies, corruption and eight years of President Obama telling Americans he knows what’s best for us. Joseph Beyhl Holtsville
I find it unfathomable that more people aren’t pointing out the obvious: Anthony Weiner brought down Hillary’s chances.
If it weren’t for the FBI’s investigation into his perversions, his computer wouldn’t have been confiscated and the FBI wouldn’t have found all those e-mails.
Little Weiner altered the American political landscape forever. Richard Lefkowitz Manhattan During her time as secretary of state, Hillary re- peatedly showed a complete disregard for what’s proper by using a private e-mail server. She wiped clean the server after a subpoena was delivered, and she blurred the lines between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation.
Throughout it all, people complaining about Comey never referred to any of Hillary’s behavior as improper.
Their concerns about Comey’s actions are highly selective and totally hypocritical, proving them to be people who value winning elections above all else.
They couldn’t care less about what’s right. Gary Mottola Brooklyn
Clinton’s campaign is blaming Comey for Hillary’s loss to Donald Trump.
Interestingly enough, they don’t want to talk about how Hillary didn’t want to campaign in Democratic strongholds like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. That's the real issue.
Hillary and her handlers have no one else to blame. She created enough controversy to raise doubt in voters’ minds. That’s what lost her the election. Alan Swartz Verona, NJ
Hillary blaming her loss on the FBI’s renewed probe is a little like an amputee blaming the exploding firecracker rather than himself for lighting the fuse. Richard Siegelman Plainview
