Department store makeup counters are so yesterday.

Today’s fashionistas are turning to mobile apps to give themselves makeovers by simply snapping selfies and then using their smartphones to apply mascara, lipstick and eye shadow to their digital faces.

Agrowing number of cosmetics brands are launching single-branded apps in the space — with direct links to e-commerce sites.

The YouCam Makeup app, owned by Taiwan-based Perfect Corp., is taking a different tack: offering multiple brands on its app. The popular app has been downloaded about 260 million times, the company said.

On Friday, YouCam is hoping to make some waves by adding to its app Kardashian Beauty — the cosmetics company owned by Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kar- dashian, The Post has learned.

Fans whowant to look like their favorite reality-TV stars will be able to “try on” about 30 different products from the Fierce Collection of lipstick, concealer and eye shadow.

Allure magazine reviewed YouCamin January, describing it as the “most accurate and realistic” app of its kind. It doesn’t hurt that Perfect Corp. holds more than 100 face-recognition patents.

The competition in the sector is tough, with MakeupGenius by L’Oréal, Beautiful Me by Modiface and Covergirl’s BeautyU, just to name a few that are vying for the attention of young women.

YouCamcurrently features four brands, including Elizabeth Arden, Ardell lashes and Laura Geller — plus the Kardashians.

It is in talks to add another 10 brands, company executives said.
