A wanna-be rapper from Brooklyn wasn’t going to lose his shot at blasting a flamethrower from atop a city bus for a guerrilla music video — even though the illicit nighttime stunt put more than two dozen passengers in harm’s way.

Streams of fire burst into the air and down the back of the MTA bus in shocking video that emerged on social media.

In a scene that could have been ripped from the movie “Mad Max: Fury Road,” the 57-second clip shows rapper Dupree G.O.D jumping shirtless from the top of an ice cream truck onto a B26 bus at Franklin and Putnam Aves. in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

He then fires off his hand held flamethrower, shooting blazing arcs in the air before running to the back of the bus and shooting the flames downward, torching the ground as the bus starts to move.

Witnesses cheer him on as he keeps shooting flames in the air.

“What is you doing, n——-?” one man asked.

The man then jumps down, almost landing in a line of flames he lit.

“We outside, n——-!” the man says before walking off.

Dupree G.O.D also posted overhead video of the dangerous Nov. 8 stunt to his Instagram page.

“‘Wutang’ music video shoot was insane. It was a movie. It was f—-ing epic,” he wrote on Instagram. “We shut Franklin Avenue Down. With amazing energy. We are in this together. We The ILLest. Video coming.”

City transit officials were not impressed.

“We don’t even need to say how absurd, dangerous and just plain stupid this was. The reckless individual who torched over the top of an occupied bus put New Yorkers, including the bus operator, in life-threatening peril,” MTA spokesman Tim Minton said Tuesday. “We are grateful the courageous actions of the operator in moving riders to safety minimized risk, and are cooperating fully with the NYPD investigation.”
