Martinez on Oct. 27 after just two years — is clearly enjoying the single life. She’s been seen partying late into the night at the Argyle Hollywood and this week spies saw her leaving the club early Tuesday morning, one spy tells Confidenti@l.
“She was with a group of guys and they had a table. They were drinking champagne,” says our source. “At one point, she (Berry) wandered onto the dance floor by herself and was dancing with different guys.”
The source, who witnessed Berry in action, said she “looked stunning” and that people were shocked and surprised to see her out just dancing around by herself. We’re told the Oscarwinner rolled in to the club around 11 p.m. and partied hard for two hours before leaving the hotspot at 1 a.m.
“The guys she was with spent a lot of money,” adds the source. “They bought several bottles of expensive champagne, on top of bottle service. She was definitely drinking and partying and having fun. Whenever she went to the dance floor, she went by herself, not with the guys she was with, and was dancing and drinking. It looked like she was trying to pick up a guy.”
Berry and her actor ex Martinez, who have a 2-year-old son, Maceo, announced they were splitting in a joint statement, saying: “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to (this) decision. We move forward with love and respect for one another.”
Despite the statement, the divorce has not been amicable, with the couple battling to hammer out a custody agreement. Berry has expressed concern her ex will move to his native France and take Maceo, and has requested that Martinez not take their son out of California without a judge’s written permission. Martinez, meanwhile, has hired celebrity pit-bull attorney Laura Wasser to fight Berry.
Berry also had a bitter split with exboyfriend Gabriel Aubry, whom she was ordered to pay $16,000 a month in child support for their daughter, Nahla.
