WHERE THEY ARE NOW

ALL-CONFERENCE: Iowa’s Samantha Logic, a senior guard from Racine Case, received all-Big Ten recognition for the fourth time. A unanimous selection by the coaches for the second straight season, she is the first Hawkeye to be selected to the first team in back-to-back years since 2011.

The co-captain was a third-team selection as a sophomore and made the all-freshman team in 2012. Logic, who averages 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, is the only player in NCAA history to get at least 1,400 points, 800 rebounds, 800 assists and 200 steals.

At Drake, freshman Reed Timmer (New Berlin Eisenhower) was named to the Missouri Valley Conference’s All-Freshman and All-Newcomer teams. Timmer was one of just two freshmen on the newcomer team.

He averages a team-high 11.6 points per game. He averaged 11.9 points per game in conference play, shooting 42.9% overall and 37.8% from threepoint range. His scoring average jumps to 15.6 points per game in the last 10 contests. Timmer is one of just 15 freshmen in the Division I averaging at least 11 points and 2.5 assists per game.

Cleveland State’s Charles Lee, a Milwaukee Hamilton product who recently scored his 1,000th point, was named to the all-defensive team of the Horizon League. UW-Green Bay sophomore Jordan Fouse (Racine St. Catherine’s) also made that team while UW-Milwaukee senior Steve McWhorter, another St. Catherine’s graduate, made second-team allleague.
