7 PM ( ESPN) 2021 NFL Pro Bowl
Celebration No, there won’t be a game between AFC and NFC stars this year thanks to the pandemic but there will be “Madden NFL 21.” With the actual game cancelled, the event was reconfigured into a series of virtual match-ups featuring celebrities, NFL legends, current players and others playing as the official Pro Bowl rosters in the popular EA Sports video game. Those match-ups will then culminate with today’s virtual Pro Bowl game played with 2021 Pro Bowl players.
8 PM G Batwoman Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie) struggles with any superhero’s big challenge — living a double life — as she continues to prove herself as Batwoman in the new “Bat Girl Magic!” Luke (Camrus Johnson) has some misgivings, particularly after Ryan has the audacity to make some alterations in the Batsuit he designed, but Mary (Nicole Kang) is a cheerleader for Team Ryan. Elsewhere, Commander Kane’s (Dougray Scott) Crows try to block the flow of Snakebite through Gotham as Victor Zsasz (guest star Alex
Morf) slashes his way through the city streets.
9 PM ( SHO) Shameless In the new episode “Slaughter,” Ian and Mickey’s (Cameron Monaghan, Noel Fisher) security gig comes under scrutiny, while Frank and Kev (William H. Macy, Steve Howey) try to take down the Milkoviches. Meanwhile, V (Shanola Hampton) turns political activist as she canvasses the area to get Black people to the polls, and Debbie (Emma Kenney) takes Franny (Presley Schrader) to meet her favorite wrestler. Ethan Cutkosky also stars.
10 PM ^ The Long Song on
Masterpiece This three-part adaptation of a critically acclaimed and bestselling novel by Andrea Levy chronicles the saga of July (Tamara Lawrance, “King Charles III”), a strong-willed house slave who clashes with her demanding and capricious mistress, Caroline Mortimer (Hayley Atwell), in Jamaica during the era of emancipation in the 19th century. The excellent cast also includes Jack Lowden (“Mary Queen of Scots”), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (“Rogue One”), Jordan Bolger, Gordon Brown and Lenny Henry.
