Trail Blazers rally behind Lillard

Damian Lillard scored 31 points, including five three- pointers in the last 3: 07, and the Portland Trail Blazers rallied to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 115- 110, Sunday night in Portland.

C. J. McCollum had 22 points for Portland, which hit a season- high 19 three- pointers in snapping a three- game losing streak and Oklahoma City’s four- game win streak.

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook nearly had his fourth tripledoub­le of the season, but fell just short with 25 points, 15 assists and nine rebounds. Last season, Westbrook led the NBA with 11 tripledoub­les. Kevin Durant had 28 points for Oklahoma City.

With 3: 19 remaining, Andre Roberson’s three put Oklahoma City up 103- 95. That started a threepoint shootout. Lillard hit three consecutiv­e threes and Allen Crabbe drained another to cut the Thunder’s lead to 108- 107 with 2 minutes left. Then Lillard hit two more, the last one breaking a110- 110 tie and putting the Trail Blazers ahead for good.

Lillard finished with17 points in the fourth quarter, all in the final 3: 07.

LeBron James tied a season high with 37 points and had nine assists and seven rebounds as the Cavaliers won for the 13th time in 15 games.

at New York 100, Milwaukee 88:

Carmelo Anthony had 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists, and the Knicks broke it open in the third by outshootin­g and out dunking one of the NBA’s most athletic teams. New York has won four of five.

at Memphis 101, Boston 98:

Zach Randolph had 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who overcame a 21- point deficit in the second half. Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with 35 points.

at Houston 107, Indiana 103 ( OT):

Trevor Ariza scored a season- high 24 points and Corey Brewer hit the go- ahead three- pointer in overtime to lift the Rockets.

Dallas 93, at Minnesota 87:

Dirk Nowitzki scored 29 points, converted a big three- point play and grabbed a key loose ball in the final seconds to push the Mavericks past the Timberwolv­es, who have lost six straight and10 of11.

at Denver 95, Charlotte 92:

Danilo Gallinari scored 27 points, rookie Emmanuel Mudiay added 11 in his first gamein a month and the Nuggets extended the Hornets’ losing streak to seven games.
