DOROTHY JEAN HEISLER

Nov 18, 1947 – Feb 5, 2018

Dorothy Heisler of Stockton, CA passed away peacefully on Monday Feb 5th, 2018.

Dorothy was born to Leonard and Grace Becker on Nov 18, 1947.

She attended Lodi grade schools and Lodi High School. In high school is where she met her husband Ronald Heisler (Grass Valley). They were married for 30 years. They have one child born in 1970, Michael Heisler (wife Kristina) of Lodi.

Dorothy was extremely proud of her 47 years career with the San Joaquin Co Sheriff Office. She worked in all divisions, eventually becoming the Sheriff’s Administrative Assistant. She held that position for many years and for many different Sheriffs. She made numerous friends and relationships over her career.

After retirement Dorothy was able to spend more time with her two joys, Jacob (wife Hannah) Heisler and Courtney Heisler She enjoyed shopping, movies and spending time with her grandchildren, and relaxing at home.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Grace, brother Leonard Jr. (Butch). She has one sister Sharon Freigen (Jerry) of AZ, and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, 2 pm, at the Vineyard Chapel located at the Cherokee Memorial Cemetery. 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

In Lieu of flowers, donation can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
