Outfielder Dahl, 2019 All-star, gets one-year deal with Texas
Free-agent outfielder David Dahl agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with Texas, ESPN reported. An All-star in 2019, when he batted .302 with 16 home runs and 61 RBIS in 100 games, the 26-year-old hit .286 in four injurymarred seasons with Colorado. The 2012 firstround draft pick is recovering from September right shoulder surgery.
■ Rays: Corner infielder Nate Lowe, minor league first baseman Jake Guenther and a player to be named were traded to Texas for three 20-year-old prospects. Lowe, 25, a .300 hitter over four minor league seasons, batted .251 with 11 homers and 30 RBIS in 71 games with the Rays.

■ Cubs: Reliever Robert Stock was claimed off waivers from Boston. The 31-year-old right-hander has a 4.24 ERA in 63 2/3 innings over three major league seasons.
