■ No. 12 Miami 52, Florida State 10: At Miami Gardens, Fla., D’Eriq King threw for 267 yards and two TDs in three quarters for the Hurricanes (3-0, 2-0) in their most decisive win over the Seminoles (0-2, 0-2) since 1976.

No. 20 Virginia Tech 45, North Carolina State 24:

At Blacksburg, Va., Quincy Patterson II threw for two TDs and ran for a score for the Hokies (1-0, 1-0), who were without 23 players and four coaches because of COVID-19 issues and injuries. Devin Leary threw for 165 yards and a TD for the Wolfpack (1-1, 1-1).

■ No. 21 Pittsburgh 23, No. 24 Louisville 20: At Pittsburgh, Kenny Pickett threw for 220 yards and two TDs for the Panthers (3-0, 2-0), who notched seven sacks and held the Cardinals (1-2, 0-2) to 223 yards of offense — less than half of their season average.

Syracuse 37, Georgia Tech 20: At Syracuse, N.Y., Tommy DeVito threw for two TDs and Sean Tucker ran for two scores for the Orange (1-2, 1-2), who scored 17 points off four intercepti­ons by the Yellow Jackets (1-2, 1-1).

Virginia 38, Duke 20: At Charlottes­ville, Va., Brennan Armstrong threw 18- and 26-yard TD passes to freshman Lavel Davis Jr. in the fourth quarter to rally the Cavaliers (1-0, 1-0). The Blue Devils (0-3, 0-3) had seven turnovers, a week after totaling five.

Boston College 24, Texas State 21: At Boston, Phil Jurkovec threw a tying TD pass with 1:11 left, and Aaron Boumerhi kicked a 36-yard field goal with three seconds to go for the Eagles (2-0). 28: At Greenville, N.C., Dillon Gabriel threw for 408 yards and four TDs for the Knights (2-0, 1-0 American Athletic), who benefited from three firsthalf turnovers by the Pirates (0-1, 0-1).

At Lafayette, La., Nate Snyder kicked a 53-yard field goal on the final play for the Ragin’ Cajuns (3-0, 2-0 Sun Belt). Shai Werts hit a 28-yard TD pass and a 2-point conversion throw to give the Eagles (1-1, 0-1) the lead with 54 seconds left.
