Righty Moscoso shuts down 51s
Right-hander Guillermo Moscoso pitched five scoreless innings and Matt Beaty went 4-for4 and scored three runs, leading the host Oklahoma City Dodgers to an 8-1 victory over the 51s Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Moscoso (3-5) allowed four hits, struck out four and walked two.
He also drove in three runs, including a two-run double in a three-run third inning.
The Dodgers’ bullpen limited the 51s to three hits in four innings.
Oklahoma City (40-24) had 16 hits.
For the 51s (28-41), Zach Borenstein was 2-for-4, including a runscoring double in the seventh.
Loser Chris Flexen (4-6) went five innings, allowing five runs, all earned, on 11 hits and five walks.
