-

Patricia Lynn Ferguson 69, passed away February 25, 2018. She was born May 11, 1948, to Broadway musical entertainers, Evelyn (Colby) Ferguson and William Ferguson. Patty was a loving, energetic and passionate lady. She grew up in Staten Island, New York, and moved to Manhattan to work for US Steel in the 60’s at the advent of computerization. She later followed the family to Las Vegas, where she developed her skills as a nanny and an expert in special needs caregiving. She loved working with children and with those who needed an extra helping hand. Her favorite past time was writing children’s stories and illustrations which she developed and refined over her lifetime. Patty will be remembered for her sweet nature and as an independent, eccentric, fun gal with a pun at the ready. She loved to laugh and share her wit with the many people she met in her jobs as greeter, hostess and sales for some of the top stores and resort casinos in Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and William; brother, Donald Ferguson; as well as her stepfather, William Ferringo. She is survived by her sister, Kimberly Ferguson (Rudoff); brother-in-law, Alan Rudoff; stepbrother, Rick Ferringo, and his wife, Lorraine; many wonderful cousins; a niece and nephew; and many good friends. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Summerlin Buddhist District Group.
