Since the dawn of the internet era, the classic comic strips that appear in daily newspapers (and in color on Sundays!) often seem like an artifact from a bygone time. But even if these comics aren’t read as much as they once were, their iconic impact continues to resonate throughout pop culture, whether it’s via new big-screen reboots ( like Annie and The Peanuts Movie) or through the style choices of these celebrities, who draw obvious influence from time-tested characters like Little Orphan Annie, Dick Tracy, Prince Valiant, Popeye and Charlie Brown!

I got sucked into a Sister Wives marathon on TLC last week and while I’m no polygamist, I really don’t think I’d care if my husband took on another wife or three at this point in our marriage.
