Bill Lyall, 88 Westmorland

Bill Lyall, 88, of Westmorland passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016.
He was a long time resident of Imperial Valley, attended grammar school in Westmorland, high school in Brawley where he played football and then two years at Chaffey College. After attending Chaffey College, he returned to Westmorland to manage the family business, Frank R Lyall & Son, Inc. with his father, Frank. He eventually became the sole owner of the business and was until his death. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Billee Jean and lived in Brawley and then Westmorland. They raised three daughters, Dianna Kim, Paige Anne and Jo Alison. Bill’s longtime hobby was fishing locally at Lake Morena, Lake Cuyamaca and June Lake along with several San Diego deep sea fishing trips. He also enjoyed several halibut fishing excursions in Alaska with his sister’s family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Martha; brothers, Bob.
William is survived by his wife, Billee Jean; daughters, Dianna Kim Lyall from Brawley, Paige Anne Lyall from Laguna Beach and Jo Alison (Robert) Hibner from Hidden Valley Lake; sister, Shirley Pope from Anchorage, AK; Five grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Westmorland Community Presbyterian Church.
