Memorial services for William “Bill” Baker, 68, of Frankston will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Frankston, TX with Pastor Shane Scroggins officiatin­g. Mr. Baker was born May 31, 1949 in Baytown to the late Bettie (Stewart) Baker and Alvin Baker and passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family on July 29, 2017.

Over the span of his life, Bill enjoyed bull riding in his younger days, riding his Harley, traveling, raising kids, playing with his grandchild­ren, grilling and barbecuing with his friends and family and mowing the yard. Mr. Baker worked for many engineerin­g firms in the Houston/ Tyler area over the past 45+ years and was currently employed at K P Engineerin­g in Tyler. He will be remembered for his homemade hot sauce and green sauce that he always brought to work to share with his coworkers.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 24 years, Tina; his four daughters, Bonnie Greenough and husband Michael of Sana Fe, Misti McCoy and husband Tim of Lufkin, Tynna King and husband Jonathan of Jones Creek, Bj Baker of Austin, and two sons, Shane Baker and Casey Baker both of Angleton; he adopted his granddaugh­ter Anna Baker and is raising his granddaugh­ter Chasity. He also leaves behind one brother, Kevin Baker of Old Ocean; nine grandchild­ren, Chelsea, Dustin, Jaycee, Cooper, Easton, Paisley, Brinlee, Haley, Serenity; and three great-grandchild­ren, Dylan, Travis, and Madison.

Honorary pallbearer­s will be Dale Loyacano, Jerry Campbell, Bruce Meritt, Jay Denton, Jimmy Montgomery, Dudley Holdman, and Chuck Ashmore. Bill’s family also wishes to express their appreciati­on to the staff of Hospice of East Texas for the exceptiona­l care given to him.
