Virginia Mary Passmore passed away on June 2, 2017 after battling cancer. She was born on April 21, 1929 in Houston, Texas to Annie and Leonard Davison. Ginger attended St. Agnes Academy and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1946. She was a proud member of the founding class of The University of St. Thomas. In 1949 she married James B. Passmore and was instrument­al in the success of their 60 year old company, J.B. Passmore Inc.. The business is still operated by the family. Ginger was active in Charity Guild of Catholic Women, The Cenacle Tuesday Group and Theresians Day 1. She was an extraordin­ary wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. Her favorite activities were sewing, going to the office, playing golf, and most of all being with Jimmy, family and friends.

She is survived by her sisters Eileen and Ann, brother Phil, children Janet and husband Rick, Tommy and wife Cassie, Don and wife Malia, and Mark and wife Lari, ten grandchild­ren and twentytwo great grandchild­ren. She is predecease­d by her husband, James B. Passmore, her parents, brothers Paul and Clyde, and sister Irene.

Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Rosary at 7:30pm, Thursday, June 8 at Earthman Hunters Creek Funeral Home, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 9, 11:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Memorial Park, 6622 Haskell St., Houston, Texas 77007.

The family wishes to thank Houston Hospice, Family Tree Caregivers, and the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine for their care and dedication to Virginia.
