When a hurricane is bearing down on your community, you want accurate, reliable information, and you want it now. Getting the right news at the right time in a major storm can be a matter of life or death.
The internet, and particularly Twitter, can get critical information out to the public from official and expert sources. Unfortunately, there’s also a lot of clutter and noise.
