San Diego Circle of Excellence trip rewards top producers
Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty recently rewarded its top producers with an all-expense paid weekend to beautiful San Diego. For over 15 years, the MTSIR Circle of Excellence has enjoyed a companysponsored trip where they are given an opportunity to relax and enjoy being together at a destination.
For those agents who arrived early on Thursday, Walter Bering hosted a beach barbecue at the La Jolla Beach Club, where everyone celebrated MTSIR senior vice president Robin Conner’s birthday. Golf, surfing, bicycling and day trips filled the itinerary for many.
Tim Shanahan and his wife decided on a bike tour, and Robert Bland took to the gorgeous blue water to enjoy surfing.
Saturday a large group visited the San Diego Zoo, which is quite famous with 3,700 animals of more than 650 species. The group participated in a private tour to feed the rhinos, flamingos and pet a zebra. Rumor has it that MTSIR president Marilyn Thompson was chased by the flamingos.
Being avid baseball fans, Bering and his daughter, Bonnie, and David Atkins attended the San Diego Padres baseball game. Disneyland was on the agenda for Terry Cominsky and her husband, Martin, and Patrick Banks.
Several agents decided to take advantage of being in Southern California by visiting two of Pacific Sotheby’s International offices in La Jolla and Coronado.
As everyone relished their time on the gorgeous beaches, anticipation loomed as they looked forward to the scheduled cruise on Saturday evening.
Six Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty agents and management joined the Houston group for a seated dinner on a private yacht.
The San Diego Bay cruise offered views of the military ships in the bay, and showcased the sky as it shimmered over downtown and the bridge leading to Coronado.
