Elyson will host September preview
Now that Elyson has just launched its official website, Elyson.com, home buyers can get a sneak peek at this new Katy Independent School District community ahead of its fall grand opening.
At Elyson.com, visitors can join the interest list to receive an invitation to a special sneak preview event in September, ahead of the community’s public grand opening in October.
Located at Grand Parkway and FM 529, approximately eight miles north of I-10 west, Elyson offers new homes priced from the mid-$200,000s to $600,000s by Chesmar, Darling, David Weekley, Highland, Perry, Pulte, Trendmaker and Westin.
At the September preview event, visitors will be able to tour many of the 10 fully furnished model homes that will be showcased in the October grand opening.
The preview event will also include Rorick House, an active, fun-filled community center for Elyson, and also home to the official Elyson welcome center. The preview will feature samples and refreshments by Rorick Kitchen, a new cafe in Rorick House.
A 3,642-acre community, Elyson will devote 750 acres devote to parks, trails, recreation centers, waterways and natural open space. Along with Rorick House, Elyson will have community orchards where residents can pick pecans and citrus fruit.
Elyson students will attend nearby Bethke Elementary, a new Katy ISD school opening in this month. Elyson residents also are expected to attend new Katy ISD middle and high schools opening next to Bethke Elementary in 2017, although attendance boundaries have not been announced by the district.
Elyson is the fourth community that Newland Communities has developed in Katy ISD.
The largest, the 8,100-acre Cinco Ranch commnity, opened in 1991 and has consistently been one of the top- selling communities in Houston and the nation.
