TORONTO — Edwin Encarnacio­n hit three home runs and tied a Toronto record with nine RBIs as the high-scoring Blue Jays routed the Detroit Tigers 15-1 on Saturday.

Encarnacio­n extended his hitting streak to 24 games, the longest in the majors this season, with a three-run homer off Buck Farmer in the first inning.
