Alley Ball A Deco Delight
and Michael chaired the annual Alley Theatre Ball at the historic JP Morgan Chase Bank Building. Completed in 1929, the cavernous lobby was stylishly transformed for the party, and guests glided through banquet tables and teller desks for the 1920s supper-club-themed event. Auction chair and “luxury chairs”
and coordinated the fundraising efforts to help with the Alley’s ongoing $73 million campaign. The auction included a four-day stay at the Linns’ home in Montecito, Calif., as well as trips to Tuscany and Costa Rica. There also was the opportunity to have a Warholstyle pop art portrait made by Gittings Studios.
Bartenders mixed Prohibition-era cocktails that harkened back to the Gatsby era, and the evening culminated with a performance by 1997 Theatre World Award for Best Actress winner
