Webster, Robert Irving

Robert Irving Webster, 72, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. He joins his father Irving E. Webster, mother Mary A. Desjardins Webster Schadee, sister Joan Fowler and all other loved ones that passed before him. Robert grew up in Wethersfield, CT where he attended public school, graduating from Wethersfield High School in 1968. He was a graduate of Greater Hartford Community College in 1980. He loved music, cars, and his beloved dog Buddy. Robert served in the United States Army from 1969 - 1971 where he received an Army Commendation Medal for "Meritorious Service" in 1971 after serving in the Vietnam War. Robert retired from The Hartford Courant where he worked as a manager. He was a member of several organizations, including Disabled Americans Veterans, VFW, NRA, and American Legion. He leaves behind his three daughters, Christine E. Deschene of East Hartford, Kerri Rosa and her husband Kenneth of Columbia, and Trisha M. Webster and her partner Mathew Flynn of Coventry. He also leaves behind a sister Marylou Karieva and her husband William of Windsor as well as other family members include his eight grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alyssa, and Jordan Brazalovich; Damien Deschene; Zachary and Samantha Rosa; Silas and Ian Flynn; two great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. Robert will be missed but will live on in our hearts forever. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at 10:00 AM on 11/12/2022 at Corpus Christi/Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT. A private burial will be held on a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
