CENTRAL

■ Arcadia: May 23. Elevation 1 ft. above normal and rising, water 67 and stained. Blue catfish and channel catfish good on cut bait and worms around points and riprap. Bluegill sunfish excellent on crickets and worms along riprap. ■ Hefner: May 22. Elevation normal and rising, water 74 and murky. Largemouth bass, striped bass hybrids and white bass good on in-line spinnerbai­ts, plastic baits and spinnerbai­ts in coves, along shorelines and weed beds. Blue catfish and channel catfish slow on live shad and worms in coves, around docks and main lake. Walleye good on flukes and minnows around flats, main lake and sandbar. ■ Overholser: May 23. Elevation 1 ft. above normal and rising, water 66 and stained. Striped bass hybrids fair on crawfish and shrimp in the main lake and along shorelines. Bluegill sunfish good on crickets and worms around riprap and shallows. ■ Stanley Draper: May 23. Elevation 5 ft. below normal and falling, water 71 and stained. ■ Chandler: May 22. Elevation normal, water 67 and murky. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, punch bait and sunfish along the dam and shallows. Largemouth bass slow on plastic baits and spinnerbai­ts around brush structure and dam. Black crappie fair on jigs along the dam and shorelines. ■ Copan: May 21. Elevation 2 ft. above normal and rising, water 60 and murky. Largemouth bass and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, lipless baits and spinnerbai­ts in coves, main lake and points. Blue catfish and channel catfish fair on cut bait, hot dogs, live bait, live shad, punch bait, shad and stinkbait below the dam, in coves and main lake. Black crappie and white crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs and minnows around brush structure, docks, flats and shallows. Comments: Colder temperatur­es and rain have largemouth bass pushed off shorelines and can be caught in 12-25 ft. of water.
