Brenda Noland

Brenda Mae (Winters) Noland, 69, lifelong Guymon resident passed away February 4, 2021 at Sunset Estates in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Brenda was the third daughter of Betty Jo and Irvin Winters, born October 7, 1951 in Greensburg, Kansas. Brenda attended Guymon High School and later graduated Cosmetology School in Longview, Texas. She worked and owned salons in Guymon until her retirement in 2014.

Brenda married Marvin Spence in 1972 and they had one son, Sheldon Spence. After their divorce in 1979, Brenda raised Sheldon in and out of the salon. She loved her patrons but loved her family more. Brenda married James “Jim” Noland in 1994 and gained more family.

Survivors include her husband Jim Noland, of the home; children: Sheldon and Jenny Spence of Norman, Oklahoma, Jay and Missy Noland of Cadiz, Kentucky, Heather and Brandon Gallaher of Fife Heights, Washington and Tim Noland of Stephenville, Texas; her grandchildren Marc, Brady, Abby, Destiny, Riley, Breck, Julia, Logan and Jewels; her sister, Charlotte and Jim Behne of Purcell, Oklahoma; brothers: Irvin Winters and Jimmy Winters both of Guymon, Oklahoma; niece Monna Blackmore of Purcell, Oklahoma and nephews Aaron and Melissa Behne of Ramona, California and Braxton Winters of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brenda was MeMe to Sage, Seth, Sean, and Ryker.

She was preceded in death by her father Irvin Winters, mother Betty Jo Winters, Sister Sheryl Christopher, and nephew Joe Bob Edward Christopher.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, March 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
