Maurice S. Camell, Sr., 87, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

A private family graveside will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Father Edward D’Almeida officiatin­g.

LONNIE EARL HICKS

Bro. Lonnie Earl Hicks was born into this life on May 15, 1950, and entered into his eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Frances E. Hicks , and his father, Mr. Alvin Moody; a sister, Alberta Sims; two brothers; James Moody and Johnny Carol Moody.

Bro. Lonnie never met a stranger, and his good friends Reverend Jerry Ross and Reverend George Calloway could vouch for that.

Bro. Lonnie leaves behind and will be fondly remembered by a special love of 20+ years. He is survived by three sons: Pezzonia Hicks, Lonoke, Arkansas; Coryindo Owens, Dallas, Texas; Lonnie Ray, El Dorado, Arkansas; Four daughters: Kendra Brock, Maumelle, Arkansas; Tamekia Owens, Dallas, Texas; Raven Owens, Monroe, Louisiana; and Moriah L. Hicks, El Dorado Arkansas; two Brothers, Elmer Charles Smith and Bruce Smith; two sisters; Ola Pearl Tidwell, and Shirley Moody Foster; 11 grandchild­ren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives , and friends.

WILLIAM KELLEY

William “Bill” Kelley, 79, of El Dorado, stepped into glory Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born June 22, 1941 to the late Howard and Leola Anderson Kelley in El Dorado, AR.

Bill spent seven years in the United States Army, he worked as a salesman for Murphy Motors; Performanc­e Chevrolet in Camden and was the former owner of Kelley Auto Sales. Bill was a member of Iron Mountain Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Bill lived a genuine life of faith and honesty and will be truly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Bates Kelley; daughter, Joy Kelley, and sons, Ryan Brown and Tyler Brown, brothers, Robert O. Kelley; Jack Kelley, Cliff Kelley, Walter Kelley; and grandsons, Connor Kelley, Luke Brown, Luther Brown, and Ross Stringfell­ow.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Young’s. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funerals and visitation­s to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 10 at Iron Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Grimmett officiatin­g. Burial will be at 2 pm at Leek Drake Cemetery in Star City, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Serving as honorary pallbearer­s, are the men of Iron Mountain Baptist Church.
