ZEBBIE D. CHANEY Zebbie “Zeb” Dunbar Chaney, 102, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

JAMES WILLIAMS James Williams, 65, of Calion, passed away on Aug. 22, 2017 at his home.

NANCY L. MORRIS Nancy Lind Morris, of Camden, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 19, 2017.

She was born in Camden to Harold and Zona Morris on March 11, 1948.

Nancy was a member of the First Presbyteri­an Church in Camden. She was retired from Arkansas DHS Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education. Nancy always loved to laugh and have a good time. To be called family or friend was to be truly blessed.

She is survived by family members, Betty

Mattox, Belle,

Melody (Mark) Etherton, and their daughter Harmony; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

THOMAS J. ROACH Thomas Joseph Roach was born on Aug. 24, 1942 in Schleicher County, Texas. He passed away on Aug. 21, 2017 in Midland, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Michael Roach; grandchild­ren Cheyenne, Tyler and Madison; son, Joel and wife, Kassy Roach; grandchild­ren, Tanner, Jacob, Kaylee, and Tristan; stepson, Frank and wife, Patricia Cary; grandchild­ren Lacy and Jeffery, all of Midland; and brother, Henry Roach of Tulia, Texas.

Visitation was held at Ellis Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23. Funeral will be held in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. today, with Gary Kennedy officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park with VFW honor guard.

Tom was a patriot and devoted father. He will be deeply missed.

MARIE B. ROBINSON Mrs. Marie Bernadetta Sliva Robinson, 98, passed away at her home in Hope, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017.

She was born on May 8, 1919 in Wallis,

Texas, to Emil and Annie Pisklak Sliva.

On Oct. 28, 1941, she married Ambrose Robinson and was blessed with three children.

Marie Robinson was a devout Catholic and expressed her faith by her service and devotion to the church. She was an avid flower gardener who shared her love of flowers with her family, friends and the community. Her yard was beautifull­y alive with her roses and the live oak tree in the front yard that dripped with pink roses being one of her favorite joys.

She is survived in life by her son, Gene Robinson and his wife, Carol (Anthony) of Hope; daughter, Judy Robinson Ward and her husband, Ken, of Monroe, North Carolina; daughter, Debbie Robinson Williams and her husband, Ken, of El Dorado; four sisters, Carmel Sliva Harrison of Bay City, Texas, Kitty Sliva King of Pearland, Texas, Anne Sliva Webber and her husband, John, of Bay City, and Flo Sliva Saha and her husband, Alvin, of Angleton, Texas; one brother, Frank Sliva and his wife, Barbara (Broughton), of Bay City; eight grandchild­ren, Amber Robinson Montgomery and her husband, Bill, Leslie Robinson George and her husband, Doug, Craig Robinson, Michael Ward and his wife, Carolina, Robert Ward and Marcilynn Smith, Catherine Ward and Greg Fee, Brad Williams and Julie Williams McDonald and her husband, Caleb. There are 11 great-grandchild­ren and two great-great-grandchild­ren.

Mrs. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose; her parents, Emil and Annie Sliva; four brothers: Emil, Syl, B.J., and Gilbert Sliva and a grand, Charles David Ward.

The praying of the Rosary in memory of Mrs. Marie will be said at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, followed by the visitation with the family until 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 with Father Nirmalraj Kambala Mariadass officiatin­g. Burial will immediatel­y follow the funeral at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Arrangemen­ts are by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel, director. The Robinson Family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses from Hospice of Hope and to the wonderful caregivers who took such loving care of Mrs. Marie.
