Building plan reviews

- STAFF REPORT

The Springboro Planning Commission is meeting at 6 p.m. today to review a site plan for 15 W. Mill St., a proposed annex building for Springboro United Church of Christ.

The church proposes to construct a 4,471-square foot annex building on the site of the demolished parsonage.

The building will include meeting rooms, a kitchen, restrooms and a storage area for church functions. The parking area and access drives will remain unchanged. The site is located to the west of the Springboro United Church of Christ’s sanctuary and was the location of a church building that was demolished earlier this year.

Also, the commission is to review a site plan for 890 W. Central Ave., Ohio 73 in Springboro. Wendy’s is planning exterior changes to the restaurant there to comply with current corporate design standards.

In addition, the commission is to review plans for a car wash at 555 W. Central Ave. Plans call for construction of a single-bay, 3,236-square-foot car wash on the northern half of a parcel that houses a Papa John’s restaurant and a now-vacant building that once housed an auto title loan agency and a Blockbuster video store. The vacant building would be demolished.

The site is located east of the intersection of South Pioneer Drive and West Central.

The commission meets at City Hall, 320 W. Central Ave. For more information, call 937-748-4343.
