Final day for the 2018 Homearama Touring Edition
This is it: the last day of the 2018 Homearama Touring Edition presented by Vectren is Aug. 12. Don’t miss your final opportunity to visit seven amazing homes created by some of Dayton’s finest builders.
The homes are located throughout the Dayton region, making the 2018 Homearama Touring Edition the perfect opportunity to check out new communities, find the builder of your future home, gather ideas on a remodel, view upgrades for your existing home and enjoy the craftsmanship, innovation and design trends in today’s market.
Go out and enjoy the final day to see these spectacular homes from noon to 6 p.m. Since many of these homes are sold, this may be your only opportunity to view the interiors and see what is new and exciting in the residential building industry.
For more information on the homes and builders, to purchase tickets, or to find the Homearama house closest to you, visit www. DaytonHomearama.com or download the free Dayton Homearama app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Tickets are available for $12 at the www.DaytonHomearama.com website, through the mobile app and at local Kroger stores.
Homearama offers prospective homeowners and home aficionados a variety of ideas and opportunities to see what appeals to them. Guests have the opportunity to speak with the builders and their representatives and ask questions.
Each home is unique in location, architectural style, floor plan and amenities, but two key factors are found in the homes: design synergy and use of space to maximize functionality and enjoyment.
Design is part of what brings the final construction of the home to fruition and pulls together the detailed work of the building process. This year’s Homearama homes all feature unique design elements for visual collaboration and harmony of the project. While each room might have a different feel, it is important to ensure there are no opposing elements as one’s eyes moves across spaces. Whether it be wall color, shapes, patterns, furniture or light fixtures, each element should work hand-inhand to make the home feel congruent.
Functional space is something each builder takes into consideration when constructing a home. While it may seem like an easy task, it is often a challenge for homeowners and builders to design a layout that works well with the needs of their family, pets and guests. One trend you will see in all seven of this year’s Homearama homes is the great use of space and design.
After completing your tour of the homes, be sure to vote in the 2018 People’s Choice Awards presented by Audio Etc…. The Home Builders Association of Dayton’s 2018 Homearama Touring Edition presented by Vectren encourages guests who visit four or more homes to vote for their favorites. There are six categories to choose from across three price ranges.
