Loving and loyal brother of Brian M. and Mary Kate (Jonathan) Showers. Adoring uncle of Cora Showers. Congenial Nephew and cousin to a very extensive and caring family. Patrick was a graduate of St. Francis of Assisi Grade School, Cardinal O’Hara High School and The University of Scranton.

Patrick was a walking Encyclopedia and could have been a Google Search source. The breadth of his knowledge about any and every subject was extraordinary and scary. He was always more than willing to impart that wisdom on anyone who would listen. Sometimes to the chagrin of a captive audience.

From the time he was a child he was laser focused on whatever endeavor he attempted. He began talking at such an early age that one would forget that he was not an adult. His interests included manipulating a Transformer Optimus Prime at 2 years old and continued to be totally enthralled whether it was a network themed series or World War II History. Patrick was an avid video game aficionado and enjoyed playing with his cousins and friends.

He was a gifted artist who sketched Super Hero and comic book characters just for relaxation. Patrick was an ardent Phillies fan and played in a softball league for nearly 15 years to the present. His teammates on The Jawns were very special to him. Among his many interests were Quizzo, Poker playing, Movie Night with a cadre of friends and doting over his niece.

He was a sponge for knowledge and relished a good debate. He loved dogs and his recent fascination was his Jeep. He was a very conscientious vehicle Claims Specialist for Allstate and was always affable to his clients.

In addition to his family he is survived by many great, loyal and trusted friends.
