CHECK, MATE

All the king’s horses and all king’s men are back together again. Unbelievable! The government spent millions of the taxpayers dollars in convicting these Russian henchmen and now they’re out cashing their stimulus checks and getting ready for the next election. God bless American and our great justice system!

UPPER DARBY STRONG

THE SNAKE SPEAKS

On May 20 Sound Off had an item regarding Attorney General William Barr and I want to let the writer know you’re “spot on.” I don’t believe anything that comes out of that man’s mouth – he’s a snake! Right now, he’s laying “professing innocent” groundwork until he has all the lies in place and eventually will start shaking that rattle on the end of his tail before striking out at our Constitution, yet again! GERRIE FROM WALLINGFORD

BLAME HIMSELF

I want to speak out now, before anything happens. Trump keeps willingly taking hydroxychloroquine, against medical advice. So if something happens to him, whether he gets sick or dies; I don’t want you Trump supporters jumping to unsubstantiated conclusions that he was poisoned or someone tried to assassinate him. He may have done it to himself.

WORDS OF THANKS

Thank you to all Delco essential workers, but a special nod to the employees at Wawa 293 (corner of Baltimore Pike and Bishop Avenue) for your hard work during the past three months. You all rock!

LIES IN COURT

The lawsuit filed by the Public Interest Law Center and attorneys from a Washington, D.C., outside firm trying to impose mail-in voting on Pennsylvania politics is patently false. Look outside, hundreds of thousands of people are moving about and doing their business. It would be more if the dictator Wolf would open up this state and this county and let people get back to normal lives. That’s a flat out lie that going to a voting booth might kill you. Stop this ridiculous lie.

STUPID ALL AROUND

Truthfully, I have never tolerated stupid people very well. But the recent reports of so many foolishly and selfishly disregarding all sensible precautions to try shut down this infectious viral spread only reinforces my disgust for so, so many. What is happening to our country? Is it there age, the way they were raised, or just a stupid, stupid, stupid mind set? Unfortunately it will not be just them who may pay the ultimate price ... it may be us as well. How sad!

DELCOSEER

YOUR VOTE IS IN THE MAIL

My ballot for the primary on June 2 just came in on Tuesday, May 26, after sending a request on March 17. I called Sen. Killion’s office and representative of other offices and received a reply right away. I also put in calls to each of our five Delaware County Council members and am still waiting for one of them to get back to me. What are the chances of my mail-in ballot being counted? This opens a lot of opportunities for fraud.

JUST SAYING

MORE OF THE SAME

The Daily Times’ Tuesday, May 26 Letter to the Editor article, written by Robert J. Willert, DELCORA executive director, was very interesting. Every person in Delaware County should read it and then Google Robert J. Willert. You’ll find the Republican Party is still working behind the scenes to steal DELCORA for Aqua water. This convoluted mess is another important reason to vote Democrat in June. The nepotism and corruption in the Republican Party is still going strong in Delco.

ONE WHO KNOWS

LATE AGAIN

I read your article today about the absentee ballots. I think it’s funny because I got mine yesterday and filled it out. I mailed it this morning, but it won’t be picked up tomorrow morning, this Thursday the 28th. The best part about this is I’m at very high risk for COVID because of my age and lung and heart conditions. I got my application for my absentee ballot well over a month ago. What took them so long? Now it should get to Media by Monday, I hope.

Oh, well, that’s just your wonderful government at work, always late.
