SUMMER SUNDAY figures to lead the way in her first start around two turns. The reigning Canadian champion female sprinter wired optional-claiming rivals with a 90 Beyer in her latest. PAINTING, who was cross-entered in the G3 Ontario Fashion, closed for second behind SOUPER ESCAPE after awaiting room in each of her last two outings.

NINTH RACE

ALL QUALITY finished up the course behind four next-out winners the last time she saw action in an April 19 first-level optional claimer at Gulfstream. Her overall turf form is solid, most notably her second start here last year where she was disqualified from first to ninth. TEACHER’S PET came from fourth to beat NW2 OS/$40K opposition over this course and distance in her latest. BELIEVE IN BEAUTY is turning back off a front-running third on the inner turf. SPANISH BALLERINA could take this field a long way with the rail in lane 5.

TENTH RACE

ANN OF CLEVES is taking a pretty good turf pedigree into her first start on the lawn in this twoturn inner turf event. She’s tagged for the first time off a fading fifth in an N1X traveling nine furlongs. ROLLING SLOAN beat the next-out winner Hello Friends when breaking her maiden in frontrunning fashion while claimed in a longer sprint on this course Aug. 29. QUEEN’S SPEED is back on the surface over which she graduated. Use MISS BOBBIT and COOL SOCIETY in the lower rungs of the exotics.
