Vandals cause $40,000 damage to pipeline equipment

WEST WHITELAND » West Whiteland Township Police Department Det. Mike Buchmann reported that vandals performed what Sunoco staffers reported was about $40,000 of damage to pipeline-related equipment.

Hydraulic gas lines were cut on Sunoco equipment, at Pullman Drive, sometime on April 2 or 3, police said. Anyone with informatio­n can call the tip line at 610-594-9057. All calls are kept anonymous.

DUI » Kendra Evans, 30, of Philadelph­ia was arrested for DUI and careless driving following a traffic stop on Five Points Road on March 30 at 9:16 a.m. for a suspended license plate. After contact with Evans, police officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Evans admitted to officers she smoked marijuana prior to driving her vehicle.

TRESPASS » Jennifer Mary Brown, 41, of West Chester, was arrested April 3 after she tried to enter a home in Chester Heights, Delaware County, after being told she was not welcome by a 52-year-old man.

TIRES STOLEN » Two tires were stolen off a sign board which is located on the 1000 block of Chichester Highway in Concord Township, Delaware County, on April 3. The two tires, owned by JD Eckman of Atglen, were valued at $200 each.

DUI » Glenn R. Miller Jr., 54, of Blue Ball was arrested for DUI March 14 at 10 p.m. following a hitand-run crash on Horseshoe Pike, near Pop-

lar Road in Honey Brook Township. Police said he crashed his truck into guardrails, causing severe damage to his truck, and drove nearly a mile on three wheels before the truck became disabled on Lanchester Road.

DUI » Kyle Fitzpatric­k, 22, of Downingtow­n was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on March 25

at 2:37 a.m. on Route 322, west of Copeland School Road in East Bradford Township.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF » On March 17 at 10 p.m., someone vandalized a 2005 black Peterbilt tractortra­iler located at 390 Grieson Road in Honey Brook Township, police said.

FIREARMS CHARGES » On March 30 at 6:12 p.m., Blaine Allen Schearer was arrested for carrying a firearm without a concealed carry permit.

The arrest took place on White School Road in Honey Brook Township.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE » On April 1, someone stole a 2002 Suzuki RM 125 from an 18-year-old Parkesburg man at 2055 Virginia Avenue in Sadsbury Township. The motorcycle is yellow, with racing number 42 displayed on the front and side. It has “Pro Taper” handlebars.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS » Four people were arrested

for trespassin­g on the old Embreevill­e complex located at 1822 Strasburg Road in West Bradford on April 1 at 2:39 a.m. Arrested were Jeffrey Parsons, 19 and Tyler Parsons, 19, both of Cochranvil­le, and Matthew Kolod, 19 and James Fish, 19, both of Chadds Ford. Police said Jeffrey Parsons was intoxicate­d and fell in one of the abandoned buildings, causing a head injury. He was transporte­d to Chester County Hospital by Good Fellowship ambulance.
