Flora L. Trego, 81, of West Chester, also formerly of Chester Springs, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at home, with her loving family at her side, after a 35-year battle with scleroderm­a.

She was born in Cornwall on the Hudson, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late John and Rita Smith.

She and her husband, William M. Trego, with whom she had shared 49 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2000, lived in Chester Springs most of their lives.

Flora is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie Trego and her life partner, John Bovell, Amy Brown and her husband, Jeff, and Cheryl Trego; her grandchild­ren, Zachary, Tyler, Cameron and Anna Brown; and her siblings, Rita Wesler, Doris Gottier, Mildred Gerringer, William Smith, Shirley Harp and Ronald Smith.

In addition to her parents, Flora was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1239 Clover Mill Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425. Officiatin­g will be the Rev. Ronald P. Wesemann.

Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
