• The Bloomington Fire Department is conducting a toy drive. Donations are being collected at the firehouse at 14 Taylor St., Bloomington, on Monday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monetary donations may be mailed to Commitment to Kids, P.O. • The Town of Esopus will have its Winter Wonderland Parade on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the parade will take place Dec. 4. Floats with lights and decorations and participants are needed. Examples include decorated floats, unique cars and trucks, organizations, businesses, fire departments, ambulances and horses. • Performing Arts of Woodstock’s production of Rhinebeck playwright Richard Nelson’s “That Hopey Changey Thing” continues at the Mescal Hornbeck Community Center at 56 Rock City Road in Woodstock Fridays and Saturdays, at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. through Nov. 27. • The Immanuel Lutheran Church at 22Livingston St., Kingston, is hosting its Christmas Handcrafted and Gift Boutique Friday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3, from noon to 4 p.m. Browse Handmade jewelry, glass, baskets, quilled cards, ornaments, gifts, collectibles, and more.

Free gift wrapping will be available for all items purchased. Entrance is at the lower parking area, masks are required when indoors.

• The Historical Society of Woodstock will host a free card-making workshop Saturday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at 20 Comeau Drive, Woodstock. The workshop will be led by local artists Sarah Mecklem and Roberta Sicler. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All supplies will be provided. • The Kingston Model Railroad Club’s annual open house continues Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 5 p.m. through Dec. 4. This complete O-scale railroad features modern and vintage scale models of steam and diesel locomotives passing through scenery modeled after the Hudson Valley. • The newly opened Gallery at 31Mill Hill Road, Woodstock, is highlighting the works of the late New York artist Peter Schwarzburg along with a collection of art from across Asia spanning centuries. Gallery hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 1—6 p.m, and by appointment.

• The Clinton Historical Society will have its annual Holiday Craft and Gift Fair on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Creek Meeting House, 2433 Salt Point Turnpike, Clinton Corners. Local crafters will be selling their items. The society will be selling holiday decorations along with homemade baked goods. There will also be homemade soup for lunch, to eat in or take out. • The exhibition “Guiding the Currents” featuring the works of Dutch-born Hudson Valley resident Marieken Cochius, runs at SUNY Ulster’s Muroff Kotler Visual Arts Gallery in Stone Ridge through Nov.

• The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck,

661 state Route 308, Rhinebeck, will present a performance by classical guitarist David Temple on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 3 p.m. Titled “A Guitar Celebration,” the program will feature works from Spain, Brazil, Argentina and more, including the most beautiful and dazzling compositions by Tarrega, Barrios, Villa-Lobos and others.
