The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Ellenville

• Assault: Timothy Brown, 35, of Kingston, was arrested at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, on U.S. Route 209 by state police at Wawarsing and charged with assault and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets to appear in Ellenville Town Court.

• DWI: Cassius C. Coakley, 25, of Wawarsing, was arrested at 3 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, on Berme Road by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office after officers responded to a 911 call for a possible motor vehicle accident. Coakley was discovered walking in the road near the accident, where he had gone off the road and struck several trees, authorities said. Coakley was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors, and the infraction of leaving the scene of property damage auto accident. He was released with tickets to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.

Livingston

• DWAI-Drugs: Crystal L. Dutcher, 49, of Eliziaville, was arrested at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. She was released to a third party with a ticket to appear at Livingston Town Court.

Rhinebeck

• Drugs: Renata M. Marallo, 36, of Kingston, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, on U.S. Route 9 by state police at Rhinebeck and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and the violations of controlled substance in non-original container and DWAI-alcohol. She was released with tickets to appear in Rhinebeck Town Court.
