The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
Catskill
• DWI: Daniel J. Taylor, 31, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at Catskill Commons in the village of Catskill and was charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level at or above 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with court appearance tickets.
Hyde Park
• Drugs: Samantha L. Johnson, 23, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 3:20 p.m. Friday, May 10 on state Route 9G and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. She was released with a ticket to appear in Hyde Park Town Court.
Lloyd
• DWI/Drugs: Skylar M. Corcoran, 21, of Wappingers Falls, and Jordon M. Shanley, 21, of Spackenkill, were arrested by state police at Highland at 3:05 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at U.S. Route 9W and state Route 299. Corcoran was charged with one count each of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with a bloodalcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors, and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Shanley was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance-cocaine, felonies, and the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a weapon. Corcoran was released with tickets to appear in Lloyd Town Court. Shanley was booked into Ulster County Jail and bailed out at 9:30 a.m. on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond pending a further court appearance.
Wawarsing
• Contraband: Yomel Mack, 23, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the Ulster Correctional Facility at 750 Berme Road and was charged with possession of dangerous contraband in prison, a felony. He is currently in custody. Further information was unavailable.
