Trailsweep­ers Snow and Sports Club: Open to new members of all ages. Trailsweep­ers ski, snowboard, cross country ski, snowshoe, windsurf, mountain bike, road bike, hike, backpack, canoe/ kayak and have fun. Club meets second and fourth Tuesdays of the month 7:30 p.m. at Tony’s Pizzeria on 582 Broadway in Kingston. SHOOTING

Public Sight-In Day: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 4 at the New Paltz Rod & Gun Club (old Kingston Road in New Paltz, just off State Route 32 North). Sight-in your firearms on the club’s 100-yard range before the hunting season begins. Admission is free. For more informatio­n, visit www. newpaltzro­dandgun.org Turkey Shoot: 10 a.m. Nov. 4 at Kalicoonti­e Rod & Gun Club, 333 Schneider Road, Livingston. $3 per shoot, 12⁄20 gauge bird shot and 22 rifle/pistol rounds provided at no cost. Standing slug, center fire rifle/pistol; bring your own ammo. Prizes are ham, pork loin or turkey, plus second-place prizes. Breakfast and lunch foods will be available. Also Last Chance for the Big Fall Raffle. Tickets are $2 for five super prizes: Remington 1187 Sportsman Field 12GA, Marlin 336W 30-30 with Scope, Ruger American 243, Ruger 10⁄22 Gator and Henry Lever Action 22. Raffle drawing will be after the shoot. The raffle benefits numerous community projects/events and promotion of gun safety and responsibl­e ownership. Saugerties Sports Hall of Fame: Seeking nomination­s for the 2019 induction. If you know of any individual(s) worthy of considerat­ion, contact any current Hall of Fame member or email gchorvas@saugerties.ny.us Nominee questionna­ires must be received no later than Nov. 10 for nominee to be placed on the ballot. The annual meeting and Top Ten Vote will be 11 a.m. Nov. 17 in the Off-Ice Training room at the Kiwanis Ice Arena. All current Hall of Fame members are encouraged to attend and vote. Besides the vote, there will be other business, including the election of officers.

TRACK AND FIELD

Officials Training: The Ulster County Track and Field Associatio­n is looking for persons who like to become an official. Prior track experience is not necessary as training will be provided later this fall. Interested persons must be over 18 and not in high school. Costs associated with membership: $40 for new members, BOCES charges for fingerprin­ting and uniform shirt. Officiatin­g includes indoor track at West Point in the winter and outdoor track in the Mid-Hudson area in the spring.
