Public Sight-In Days: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 27 and Nov. 4 at the New Paltz Rod & Gun Club (old Kingston Road in New Paltz, just off State Route 32 North). Halloween Slow Pitch Softball Tournament: Oct. 27 at the Town of Ulster Softball Complex. Entry fee: $250. $10 per team per game umpire fee. All proceeds to towards the Kingston Softball Hall of Fame. Upper Division can use any legal bat with a 6-home run limit. Lower Division single wall or wood only bat with a 3-home run limit. Lower Division open to coed teams. Cash payouts for both divisions along with sponsor’s trophies, defensive and outstandin­g player awards. 3-game guarantee. 10-foot max on pitching from the ground with no faking a pitch, third strike foul is an out, 1:15 time limit per game, and one runner per inning anyone can run.
