The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Catskill
· Drugs: Melissa A. Moon, 40, of Catskill was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday at the Catskill Inn on 7848 U.S. Route 9W by state police at Coxsackie and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. She was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Esopus
· Drugs: Jack D. Spinneweber, 39, of Port Ewen, was arrested at 9:14 a.m. Monday at 261 Mountain View Ave. and charged by state police at Highland with the misdemeanors of acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17 and unlawfully dealing with a child and the violation of harassment. He was issued appearance tickets for Esopus Town Court.
· Criminal mischief:
Kiswan McComb, 42, of West Hurley, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. Monday and charged by state police at Highland with felony criminal mischief. He was sent to Ulster County Jail on bail.
Hurley
·DWI: Kristine E. VanValkenburgh, 45, of Accord, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Monday and charged with felony aggravated drunken driving and misdemeanor driving while under the influence of drugs following a traffic stop by state police at Ulster on Hilltop Drive. She was ordered held pending further proceedings.
Lloyd
· Drugs: Cynthia N. Lucas, 32, of Brooklyn was arrested at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday at 499 state Route 299 and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance by state police at Highland. She was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Plattekill
· Drugs, petit larceny: Chelsea E. Pittman, 30, of Lagrangeville, was arrested at 4:09 p.m. Monday by state police at Highland at 2066 state Route 32 and charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny. She was issued appearance tickets for Plattekill Town Court.
Saugerties
· Obstruction of justice: Kimberly H. Akey, 24, of Old Stone Hill Road, Pound Ridge, was arrested by Saugerties police on Monday and charged with the felonies of obstruction of governmental administration, drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, and with the violations of using a cell phone while driving, failing to keep right and failing to signal. Akey was stopped after allegedly driving erratically on U.S. Route 9W in Malden. She became hostile with the arresting officer, slipped out of her restraints and refused to cooperate with the booking process, police said. Akey was arraigned in Saugerties Town court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $3,500 bail.
