The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

Athens

· Weapons/drugs: Dante H. McCoy, 21, of Coxsackie; Tylor J. Cameron, 22, of Troy; and Gabrielle F. Ciminello, 20, of Coxsackie, were arrested at 9:48 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 7:35 p.m., respective­ly, Tuesday on U.S. Route 9W. McCoy was charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance. Cameron was charged with the felonies of tampering with physical evidence and possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, and with the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance. Ciminello was charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance (a hallucinog­enic drug) and with the violation of possession of marijuana. McCoy was released after posting bail. Cameron and Ciminello were sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of bail.

· Aggravated unlicensed driving: Mohammed S. Naim, 31, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Albany at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday on the New York State Thruway and charged with felony aggravated unlicensed driving, the misdemeano­rs of using a vehicle without a courtorder­ed ignition interlock device and circumvent­ing an interlock device, a violation of the sanitary code and with a windshield tint violation, an infraction. Naim was released after posting bail.

Lloyd

Andrew C. Martensen, 25, of Tivoli, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday at 3650 U.S. Route 9W and charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a weapon with intent to use and menacing with a weapon. Martensen was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

New Paltz

Shaun M. Mitchell, 26, of Kingston, and Brittany A. Jessop, 25, of Colts Neck, N.J., were arrested by state police at Highland at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 299 in the town. Mitchell was charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Jessop was charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance. Both were released with tickets for New Paltz Court.

Wawarsing

Sean M. Sweeney, 26, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 4 p.m. Tuesday on Berme Road and charged with the felonies of driving with a bloodalcoh­ol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Sweeney was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.

Cairo

Jay L. Blank, 61, of Freehold, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 32 and was charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Blank was released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.

Red Hook

Adam M. Wowk, 32, of Red Hook, was arrested by Red Hook police at 12:45 a.m. Sunday on South Broadway in the village and charged with two misdemeano­r counts of drunken driving. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Court.

Saugerties

Aleksandra Zakharchen­ko, 67, of 2945 West 23rd St., Brooklyn, was arrested by Saugerties police at 8:38 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 212 and charged with misdemeano­r drunken driving and refusing a chemical test. Zakharchen­ko was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court, had his license suspended and was released with an appearance ticket.

Town of Ulster

Adam R. Goodrich, 39, of Saugerties, was arrested during a multiagenc­y drunken driving detail Saturday from 8:30 p.m. until midnight involving members of the Saugerties and town of Ulster police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s department at two checkpoint­s on the borders of the towns of Ulster and Saugerties . Goodrich was charged with the misdemeano­r of driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Goodrich was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
