City of Kingston
• Drugs: Gustavo R. Gonzalez, 30, of Malden, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday on Wall Street and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Gonzalez was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
• Unlicensed driving: Henry C. Clayton, 50, of Boiceville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday on Wall Street and was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony; and with failure to stop at a stop sign, an infraction. Clayton was sent to the Ulster County Jail pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
Catskill
• DWI: Ronald J. Stetkewicz, 42, of Freehold, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday on Grandview Avenue in the village and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Stetkewicz was released with a ticket for Catskill Village Court.
Coxsackie
• Criminal mischief: Stephen J. Ritter, 63, of Earlton, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at the state police barracks on Plank Road and was charged with criminal mischief to property valued at more than $250, a felony. Ritter was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court. • Drugs: Charles W. Kennis, 45, of Dundalk, Md., was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at about 1:49 p.m. Tuesday on the New York State Thruway after being stopped for a traffic violation and was charged with possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeanors, and with a vehicle and traffic violation. Kennis was found with about 34 grams of marijuana. He was released after posting $250 bail.
Ellenville
• DWI: Peter G. Silva, 51, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 9:32 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Silva was released with a ticket for Ellenville Village Court.
Esopus
• DWI: Brian M. Kloss, 20, of the town of Ulster, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Kloss was released with a ticket for Esopus Town Court.
Shawangunk
• Burglary: A 17-year-old male Wallkill resident was arrested by state police at Highland at 9 Main St. at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday and was charged with burglary, a felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and with possession of marijuana, a violation. The youth was sent to the Ulster County Jail. Further information was unavailable, Police said the teen was not identified because of his age.
Town of Ulster
• Weapon: Dominic Rosano, 38, of Parkesburg, Pa., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 209 and was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. Rosano was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
