Local business people ‘On the Move’
Dr. Scott Costley, of Rosendale, N.Y., is Health Quest Medical Practice’s newest primary care physician in Rhinebeck.
He is board certified in family medicine and treats adults, children and infants.
Since 1997, Costley has been a family medicine physician. He spent almost a decade with Hudson Valley Family Physicians in Rosendale. He spent six years with Bridge Street Family Medicine in Saugerties and four years with the U.S. Army’s Guthrie Health Care Clinic in Fort Drum, N.Y.
His residency was completed at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C. He holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
••• Bryan M. Smith, of Hurley and a lifelong resident of the Kingston area. has joined Catskill Hudson Bank, which has headquarters in Kingston.
Smith is commercial loan officer/assistant vice president, serving Ulster and Dutchess counties.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from SUNY New Paltz.
••• Jenna Turner, of Hudson, has joined MOST Physical Therapy, in Rhinebeck.
She is a 2010 graduate of Hudson High School, 2013 graduate of SUNY Oneonta, and received a doctorate in physical therapy from Sage Graduate School in May 2016.
••• Lauren Cornell. of Brooklyn, has been named director of the graduate program for the twoyear master of arts program in curatorial studies at The Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College and chief curator of the Hessel Museum of Art.
She will be the chief curator of the Hessel Museum.
Cornell has been on the faculty of The Center for Curatorial Studies since 2010 and co-organized the “Invisible Adversaries,” the 10th anniversary exhibition of the Hessel Museum.
As director of the graduate program, Cornell will be responsible for the center’s academic program, including curriculum and faculty development, directing research initiatives, and organizing the artist-in-residence and curator-in-residence programs. As chief curator of the Hessel Museum, she will oversee and organize the exhibitions program, symposia, public programs, publishing initiatives and support development of the museum’s collections.
She is currently curator and associate director of technology initiatives at the New Museum, where she has worked in various capacities since 2005.
