esis Gallery, Route 212 and Harmati Lane, Shady. Genesis Gallery opened its door on Memorial Day weekend in 1996, featuring Israeli Art, Jewelry and select Judaica from the Middle East. The collection featuers originals and signed, limited edition serigraphs, lithographs, and prints are from well known Israeli artists. Much of the jewelry is hand-made and designed around fragments of “Roman glass,” which are 2000-plus years old and have been unearthed in archeological digs. The gallery and the adjoining sculpture studio are set on a picturesque pond site overlooking the mountains. The landscape is studded with sculptures created by Nat Borsky. Sculpture lessons in stone carving are also available. Visit http://www. genesis-gallery.com, call (845) 679-4542 or email art@genesis-gallery.com.
