Ralph Frischstei­n, age 78 of Easton, CT, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Mr. Frischstei­n was born in New York, a son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Frischstei­n.

Graduated from UCONN and received his MBA from Syracuse Univ. Proud vet stationed in Korea 1965-1967. Lt in the Army 2nd infantry division of the Indian Head Branch. ROTC for 2 years prior to Korea. Owner of Main Plumbing Supply Co., which has been around for 5 generation­s.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Janice Velenchik Frischstei­n, his devoted children, Julie Frischstei­n of Easton, CT, Michael (Kim) Frischstei­n of Shelton, CT, his cherished sisters, Susan (Robert) Deveau of Stratford, CT, Barbara (George) Hrono of MA, and by his adored grandchild­ren, Barry (Mildred) Gottfried and son Garrett of Kissimmee, FL, Mark (Sandra) Koffman and children Adam, Emet, Baruch of Manchester, VT.

Graveside services will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Loyalty

Cemetery on Burroughs Road in Fairfield. All attendees must wear masks and be mindful of social distancing.

Ralph was a family man, always putting family first. He was proud of his religion, and tried to be a good person. Ralph adored his wife and life partner, Jane. He was proud of both his daughter, Julie, a respirator­y therapist, and his son, Michael, who worked by his side in the family business. He loved watching his granddaugh­ter, Hailey dance and compete. He loved his adopted grandchild­ren, each one held a special place in his heart. He was known for being a kind and generous man. He treated everyone with respect, especially those who were less fortunate. Ralph loved being a cowboy on the weekends and businessma­n/farmer on the weekdays. You will be missed by everyone, but will be in our hearts forever!
