Bellinger looms large in Dodgers’ victory
All- Star rookie Cody Bellinger drew a basesloaded walk to force in the winning run in the 10th inning, and the host Dodgers beat the Royals 5- 4 for their fifth straight victory. Joc Pederson hit a tworun homer in the second for the Dodgers, who blew a 3- 0 lead before tying the game at 4 on Bellinger’s team- leading 25th homer in the eighth. The Dodgers have won 38 straight games when leading, the best streak in baseball since at least 1912.

Rookie Clint Frazier hit a three- run homer off Corey Knebel with one out in the ninth inning, lifting the Yankees and snapping the Brewers’ five- game winning streak. Frazier had three hits and a careerhigh four RBI in his sixth game.

Alex Cobb pitched two- hit ball into the eighth inning, and the host Rays beat Rick Porcello. Cobb ( 7- 6) retired 11 straight in one stretch. Alex Colome got the final four outs for his 24th save. Jesus Sucre drove in the only run with a sacrifice fly in the second.
Cardinals 4, Mets 1
Paul DeJong notched his first career four- hit game with three doubles and a homer for the host Cardinals. He became the first Cardinals shortstop and No. 8 hitter in the modern era to have four extra- base hits in one game.
Braves 13, Nationals 0
Julio Teheran pitched seven strong innings to improve to 6- 0 in nine road starts this season and added a career- high three RBI for the visiting Braves. Nick Markakis and Johnan Camargo each had three hits.
Indians manager Francona back home
Indians manager Terry Francona is resting at home after a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat. The 58- year- old was discharged from the Cleveland Clinic on Saturday.
