• Museum of Work and Culture presents Valley Talks, starting at 1:30 p.m.; This year's series will focus on the Rhode Island Historical Society's 2020 theme, Spotlight Rhode Island, highlighting performing arts and artists throughout the state. Today's topic: Filmmaker Christian de Rezendes offers a preview of his historical documentary series Slatersville: America's First Mill Village highlighting the French-Canadian portion of the story.
• St. Stanislaus Kosta Parish, 174 Harris Ave., will have the second of its two-day indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items for sale include name-brand clothing for men, women, girls and young children; household items galore; bedding; curtains; towels; jewelry; lamps; etc. Something for everyone, including toys. • Saturday Morning Mix: Are you ready to mix it up? Come join the fun in the Children's Room every Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. LEGOs, music, blocks, board games and more. Once a month, on the second Saturday, Mr. Rowland will entertain from 11 a.m. to noon. The Saturday Morning Mix program will allow young patrons many opportunities to learn about music, math and science, and to practice their pre-reading, social, and motor skills.
