March 10: Spring Demo Day, Okemo, Vt. — Test out all kinds of samples of next season’s gear, extra fun on the soft, forgiving spring snow. Many brands will be on site at the Jackson Gore Base from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
March 10: Midnight Madness, Wachusett — As March ticks on, no need to worry about finding a way to get even more vertical. Wachusett keeps the lifts spinning until midnight, with fun under the lights as well as inside with food and drink specials.
Winter Wild Up and Down Race, Waterville Valley Resort, N.H. — Test your mettle in this fun, challenging race. Use skis, snowshoes or just winter running shoes and race up and down the mountain.
March 10-11: 27th Annual Hawaiian Weekend, Pat’s Peak, N.H. — The entire Pat’s staff — known for its fun-loving ways — brings you along for the fun all weekend long. Vote for the most spirited employee, show your spirit by dressing island style for your ski days, soak in hot tubs on the resort deck both days, enjoy a UFO Pineapple Beer sampling, take in a rail jam or resort department volleyball tournament and more.
March 12: 15th Annual 100k Vertical Challenge, Wildcat, N.H. — Raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation never has been more fun. Skiers and riders who donate or raise a minimum of $250 take to the slopes from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to attempt to ski 100 vertical feet on one day. Space is limited, so sign up fast.
March 13: Ladies Day Extravaganza, Mount Sunapee, N.H. — It’s all about the ladies, or as we like to say, the “chicks who rip” at Sunapee this day. Demo women’s skis and get great tips. Breakfast and lunch are included in the day, along with raffles including a pair of boots, skis, clothing and more. Oh, and you’ll hang all day with other cool chicks who rip.
