NBC’s “Dateline: On

Assignment” (Sunday at 7 p.m. on WHDH, Ch. 7) reports on the Angel Initiative in Gloucester that guarantees help to drug addicts. Police Chief Leonard Campanello’s innovative response to the opioid crisis has been adopted in some form by 101 police department­s in 23 states.

Carolina Panthers star Cam Newton plays guardian angel in “All in With Cam Newton” (starting tonight at 8 on Nickelodeo­n). He brings kids together with such celebrity mentors as magician David Copperfiel­d, Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes and “Project Runway’s” Tim Gunn to help them pursue their own dreams of glory.

Hey, being a vet isn’t all puppy dogs and sweet kitties. OK, it might be close. “The Vet Life” (series premiere tomorrow at 9 p.m. on Animal Planet) chronicles the adventures of three vets, best friends who have opened their own animal hospital, and their many furry patients.

From veteran newsman Bill O’Reilly comes the docu-series “Legends & Lies: The Patriots” (Sunday at 8 p.m. on Fox News Channel). The premiere, “Sam Adams & Paul Revere — The Rebellion Begins,” takes you right into the Boston Massacre.

Arya is at a crossroads, and it’s the kind of crisis that will probably come with a body count on

“Game of Thrones” (Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO). Elsewhere, the High Sparrow picks a new target to harass — let’s hope he oversteps himself, finally.
