A ‘GOOD’ TIME IN SCITUATE!

-

Hollywood came to Scituate the other day when the cameras rolled on “Good Kids,” a set-on-Cape Cod coming-of-age saga starring “Divergent” mom Ashley Judd, Demian Bichir of “The Bridge” fame and a group of kids who made Good!

Described as an “American Graffiti”-type flick for the new millennium, “Good Kids” follows four overachievers from the Cape who realize that being Good means they’ve missed out on a whole lotta fun. They decide to reinvent themselves before the summer kids show up, and have a blast for their last vacation before heading off to college.

Judd will play a hottie tennis wife and Oscar- nominated “A Better Life” star Bichir will play the senior tennis coach at the club. Why do we smell hanky panky???

Stars Nicholas Braun, who you may not remember from “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” Mateo Arias (“Kickin’ It”), Israel Broussard (“The Bling Ring”) and Zoey Deutch (“Vampire Academy”) shot scenes at Riva restaurant on Front Street the other day.

Ash did not make the scene. Word was, she was in Duxbury.

But the locals really warmed up to Mateo, who was polling the crowd about their thoughts on the local frozen yogurt shop CreYo. BTW, Zoey is the daughter of “Back to the Future” mom Lea Thompson, who made quite a splash in her “Dancing With the Stars” debut last week, and Howard Deutch, who directed the made-in-Mass. masterpiece “My Best Friend’s Girl” with Dane Cook and Kate Hudson.

File Under: “Good” Show.
