Howard County Commissioners to look at bids for 400’ Guy Tower construction
The Howard County Commissioners Court will convene at 3:30 p.m. in the Third Floor Courtroom in the Howard County Courthouse on Monday.
County Treasurer Sharon Adams will present the Treasurer's Monthly Payroll Report, Treasurer's Monthly Report and Quarterly Report to the Commissioners for approval. Adams will also present personnel considerations for approval.
Howard County Judge Kathryn Wiseman will lead discussion on the redemption deed.

County Auditor Jackie Olson will bring routine items such as the invoices, purchase requests, and budget amendments. An early pay order will also be brought before discussion as well as the Disbursement Agreement with Outside Agencies.
The County Commissioners will be bringing discussion and possible approval for the bids for erecting and installing a 400' Guy Tower per standard TIA-222-H. The Commissioners had previously met in a special meeting this past Wednesday, but were unable to make a decision without more information.
As part of the Road Engineer report, Brian Klinksiek will update the Commissioners on roadway maintenance and discuss the equipment auction list and February auction. Klinksiek will also be requesting to go out for bids on RFB 2012012 and RFB 2012013 for the end of March. The accelerating letting schedule for the remainder of FY 2021 and the TXDOT CTIF Grant.
Discussion will also be brought before the Commissioners regarding the contract for Rehabilitation Construction of CR34 between Howard County, TX & Ridgeback Asphalt LLC.
Howard County Sheriff Stan Parker will be discussing the MOU between Howard County and Midland Police Department for the use of the Howard County Airport – Driving track. The Commissioners were originally presented with the MOU at the Special Meeting this past Wednesday.
Before the meeting adjourns Commissioner Pct. 2 Craig Bailey will discuss the possibility of getting laptops for Commissioner's.
